What a cool little spot in The Funk Zone. Out with some girlfriends for a fall get away in Santa Barbara, for wine tasting and Halloween shenanigan's. I am the gluten free girl who often times out of luck. Fortunately, they have a really tasty gluten free pizza, I got the Pepperoni, but they have a few more options. We were out during the day and they have a nice lunch special that is a personal size pizza and mixed green salad. The vibe was so great. Very relaxing out door space and loved how friendly the staff was.

Definitely worth the line! The Salty Surfer pizza was to die for! You can tell the pizza is made with love, as well as includes all the freshest ingredients. The staff was great. Beware of less seating options during busy days and weekends. Super nice patio area to sit at and enjoy the food!

Flew into SB for a wine country excursion based out of Los Alamos. While sucking up the time change and waiting for our VRBO we stumbles across Lucky Penny. Beautiful outdoor seating with a focal penny wall overlaying brick.Metal tables and chairs rest on a rock base. We grabbed a six top. A walk up window to the kitchen connect you with the cashier. We orders a selection of pizzas and Italian chopped salads. We enjoyed delicious meatballs, roasted peppers and warm sourdough bread. Wine by the glass was enjoyed by all. The pizzas has hard crispy crusts with delicious sauce and toppings. The clean plate club was entered by all Very highly recommended Slainte

My favorite pizza spot in the world!!! I've had a lot of pizza but they do BOP style pizza like no other. Patio seating always and if you don't know, they will literally deliver pizza to all the nearby wineries. So, a day of wine tasting in the funk zone will be elevated by the deliciousness that is Lucky Penny. They also do a mean Froze. Gluten free and veggies options!

Second time eating here and it's been a good experience. This time we came with kids. Ordered italian salad (dressing on the side), shishito peppers, kids cheese pizza, salty surfer pizza (GF), frozen margarita and froze. There is seating in the front and also seating in the back. The back has more seating w shade and it's closer to the bathroom. The wood fired pizza is incredible! Ordered the kids cheese pizza and the salty surfer - both yum! The cheese pizza was so good - pizza crust was perfect and sauce was delicious. Salty surfer had these large pieces of pineapple, yummy prosciutto and the gluten free crust held up well. Froze was delicious and hubby really enjoyed the frozen margaritas lined w tajin. Central to a lot of other restaurants and places for drinking which is nice. Would eat here again!

Solid little joint for unique wood-fired pizza. My mom and I split a butternut squash and spicy coppa pizza. The garlic truffle cream sauce was a delight, and the hazelnut added enough crunch to keep things interesting against the soft sweetness of the butternut squash. The freshly shaved Parmesan was a really nice shakeup from the shaker cheese I'm used to. We both walked away full with no leftovers. It was nice to sit in the sun and enjoy the fenced in patio. Pretty much all of the seating is outdoors, and you need to go to the neighboring building for restrooms. Counter service, so staff will bring you your food and then leave you to do your thing.
